Kazakhstan visa

“The resolution provides for the right to visa-free entry/exit for citizens of these countries if the period of their stay in Kazakhstan does not exceed 30 calendar days from the moment of crossing the state border of Kazakhstan,” a spokesperson of the Kazakh government said.

The visa free rules are aimed at increasing the number of foreign investors, businessmen and tourists to Kazakhstan. Tourism is fast emerging as a major contribute to Kazakhstan's GDP and is expected to grow at a steady pace in the coming years.

Approximately 8.5 million people visited Kazakhstan last year, mainly for business. The visa free entry for citizens of certain countries is expected to further promote the tourism industry and attract more visitors.
